The sample blocks were soaked in the water for a specific number of hours and the weight gained was recorded as moisture is absorbed. After conducting the absorption rate test, natural drying test was conducted. A sample was left at ambient condition of the laboratory and the change in weight was observed and recorded. The temperature ranged from 25+/-5 °C and relative humidity by 60+/-10%
